Hurricane Preparedness & Safety Fair

The Hurricane Preparedness and Safety Fair is a free public event aimed at helping Galveston County residents get ready for hurricane season. Hosted by the Dickinson Office of Emergency Management, the fair brings together emergency experts and agencies for a day of education, family-friendly activities, and valuable resources. It will be held on Saturday, June 28, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the League City Civic Center in League City, TX.

  • Emergency response vehicle “Touch-a-Truck” exhibits
  • Face painting and activities for kids
  • Preparedness vendors and educational booths
  • Interactive exhibits and safety demonstrations
  • Information on evacuation routes and emergency plans
  • Free food, live music, and door prizes
  • Opportunity to meet with regional emergency management representatives
